cropped-img_5541.pngHello and welcome to à la Susu, a food and recipe blog 20-something years in the making.  By that, I mean I have had a passion for food for as long as I can remember and creating culinary masterpieces in the kitchen is a favorite pastime of mine. I see each dish as its own work of art that can be tweaked to perfection, resulting in many ‘mmm’s, ooohhh’s, and OMG!’s.

With all the cooking, baking, and recipe compiling, it’s about time I started sharing these mouth-watering gems with you. Although sometimes overwhelming in the details that need to be documented, it is exciting to finally organize my thoughts, “Footos,” ingredients and instructions in a way to make it easy for those who want to try out the recipes. I hope that all I feature is tempting enough to entice you into wanting, no, NEEDING a bite of that! 😉

À la Susu aims to be a platform where you can be inspired by ideas. I encourage you to venture out and make the recipes your own. Season to your liking, add more of your favorite ingredient, less of something you don’t love, or just try it the way it is the first time and go from there.
