Chocolate + Pretzels = The best combination of chocolatey, salty, crunchy goodness you can have...

Until you introduce Nutella to the mix.

And yes, I did go there.

I wanted to make a simple treat that I hadn’t done before out of ingredients that I had on hand. Nutella, pretzels and milk chocolate became the ingredients of choice. I wanted it to be easy to make and explain and that’s exactly what they ended up being.

I was getting really excited.

Can you blame me?!?

I started out by crushing the pretzels in a food processor until they were course sized bits. This will help them stay crunchy and give texture to the truffle as opposed to grinding them until they are fine.

Then I just stirred in the Nutella until it all started to come together into a ball.

After a quick round in the freezer, the mixture is rolled into little balls of heaven.

Beautiful right?!

Now, can you imagine them even more glammed up?

Yup.

Nutella Crunch Truffles
Makes about 20-25 Truffles

2 cups Pretzels, coarsely crushed
1 cup Nutella
1 1/2 cups Milk Chocolate
2 tsp Coconut Oil

Combine the coarsely crushed pretzels and Nutella until they come together.

Spread the mixture onto plastic wrap and freeze for 20-30 minutes. If it gets too hard, you will need to thaw it for a few minutes before you can roll them into balls.

Roll into little balls (this might hurt a bit because of the pretzel bits) and return to freezer for about 30 minutes, until truffle centers are firm.

Melt the milk chocolate and coconut oil and stir to fully combine

Dip truffle centers in chocolate and sprinkle with finely crushed pretzel crumbs. Allow to set.

Serve a little cooler than room temperature and store them in the refrigerator. Enjoy!
